Cincinnati USA Partnership for Economic Development Chooses Northlich to Help City Grab National Spotlight
CINCINNATI (April 28, 2008) – The Cincinnati USA Partnership, the regional economic development initiative directed by the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber, has selected Northlich as its public relations partner. Northlich will help promote the region on a national stage as the premier place for business attraction and expansion, as well as a dynamic and innovative place to live and work.
"We must continue to position and showcase Cincinnati USA as a thriving, global business center, ripe for success and opportunity. Northlich has the high-level national media connections and the expertise to create news that will help Cincinnati USA grab the national spotlight and the attention of business executives, relocation professionals and young talent," said Doug Moormann, Cincinnati USA vice president of economic development.
The Cincinnati USA Partnership has charged Northlich with developing and executing a proactive, national media relations strategy that will stress the region’s economic viability, its thriving industry clusters and its diverse and growing base of companies.
In addition, Northlich will identify opportunities to build buzz about Cincinnati USA and its livability and quality of life in order to attract critical young talent that will fuel existing and future business. The strategy calls for maximizing opportunities with national media visiting Cincinnati this year to cover the presidential elections and several major conventions including the NAACP annual meeting, North American Christian Convention and the National Baptist Convention.
The program, which will begin immediately, will target national and regional magazines, major newspapers, industry trade publications, and opportunity-based broadcast and online media.
